I regularly teach dynamic Vinyasa, Elemental Flow and Yin Yoga, led by the body and breath, often structured with a theme in mind. Aligned the seasons and the elements to create intuitive, feel good flows.
If you're not familiar with these styles here's a little description, plus my weekly schedule.
Yoga House London - studio and online
A dynamic sequence, connecting each movement with breath, creating heat, body strength and flexibility. Lots of warriors and downward dogs, having fun on the mat whilst working on releasing tension and letting go of any worries. It will make you feel truly relaxed and connected with your body. Each session includes pranayama (breath work) and guided meditation to make you feel recharged and calm.
A fun and dynamic sequence that will make you travel 360 degrees around the mat through a four part sequence. Each class works through different elements - FIRE (building heat through twists), AIR (cultivating the feeling of lightness and spaciousness with backbends), EARTH (feeling grounded, supported and connected, working with forward folds), WATER (moving in a fluid way, letting the creativity and delight flow, working with hip opening poses). Balancing the elements within us for more balanced body and mind. This is a playful and dynamic practice.
A wonderful way to unwind. Yin Yoga is a slow paced class, with postures being held for longer periods of time. Yin stretches and targets connective tissues between the muscles and fascia in the whole body. It helps to increase circulation in the joints and is a wonderful way to practise stillness of the mind. Yin also helps to regulate the flow of energy in our body. It combines the knowledge of Hatha Yoga and Chinese Medicine Meridian system, aiming to balance the flow of qi (energy flow).
