Are you working towards deeper backbend practice or perhaps would like to know how to access some more tricky variations of the most common pose, done in a safe way? In this workshop we will explore the heart opening poses with the mindful approach of body awareness, usage of props and steady progression. We will warm the body and move through hip openers, shoulders, chest and back to prepare for deeper backbends. We will use props to access poses like Urdhva Dhanurasana (Wheel Pose) with progression to Eka Pada Urdhva Dhanurasana, Camel pose Ustrasana to Kapotasana, we will play with drop backs to Wheel and variations of Eka Pada Rajakapotasana. Using props like bricks, strap and wall space allowing you to access these deeper poses safely. Always guided by the intelligence of our bodies and breath. We will finish with some deep relaxation in sweet Savasana. This workshop is open to all levels but with some basic knowledge of yoga practice. £20
